Introducing the Kletke Excellence Program for Young Adults
Expand your mind and develop your leadership potential on a busy Canadian prairie farm.
Are you looking for the adventure of a lifetime?
If you are looking for a working adventure in Canada to develop your life and leadership skills, we are interested in talking to you. We will help successful candidates to apply for an appropriate work visa and provide local living accommodations.
Is this adventure for you?
You are interested in learning and growing your knowledge and experience about farming in Canada.
You are willing to take on new challenges and be responsible for your success.
You are a team player who can work well with others to achieve common goals.
The Experience and Opportunities
Working with the Field lead, you will get exposure and experience with all areas of farming – seeding, spraying, harvesting, baling, large GPS guided tractors, etc. You will also assist the Yard and Mechanic lead with equipment, building, and yard maintenance.
Farm Operations Management provides a “big picture” view of a farming business. We share how the business is managed to allow you to understand business risks, opportunities, and operational efficiencies and their impact on the overall financial health of a farm.
We provide creative and rewarding opportunities to develop skills in areas such as leading others, negotiation, collaboration, problem solving, teamwork, communication, process improvements, organizing farming activities and more.
Our farm is located 30 minutes from the airport in the capital city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. With over 1M people, stores, and entertainment, there is plenty of adventure in the city! Our farm is within driving distance of pristine lakes and hiking trails. You can learn and experience Canada from farm life to big city living and outdoor adventure. With additional time available to travel the country to see the Canadian Rocky Mountains and other areas!
